I Want What I Want is a gospel stage play about three middle class women who have a strong desire to be married.  Due to the way their lives have progressed, coupled with the choices they’ve made in the past, and because the dating pool is so bleak, they are counting on a miracle from God to give them a mate.  These three women ban together to seek God 100% in hopes that God will bless them.  However, when two very attractive scammers enter their church, following God’s plan will prove to be seemingly impossible.  Will their support team of one another survive each other’s demons?  Can God really work?  Is spirituality the same as religion or is one more powerful than the other?  

I Want What I Want wants to take you on a journey through the lives of these three characters.  Whether tears of sorrow or tears of joy, your eyes are sure to water.  Whether belly roll laughs or laugh out loud laughs, you will be amused.  By the end of this wonderful experience, you will either fortify where you are in your relationship with God or embark on new territory! This play is set in now time and centered around church bake sales of an affluent church.
